Follow these step-by-step guides to get the most out of Tabak on your devices.
You can add Tabak to your macOS Dock for quick access, just like a native app.
Navigate to tabak.cloud using Safari (this method works best with Safari).
Click the Share button in the Safari toolbar (the square with an arrow pointing up), or press ⌘ Shift S.
Select "Add to Dock" from the share menu. You may need to scroll down in the share menu to find this option.
Click "Add" in the dialog that appears. Tabak will now appear in your Dock, and you can launch it like any other application.
Note: The Tabak icon will remain in your Dock even after closing Safari. You can rearrange or remove it just like any other Dock item.
Install Tabak on your iPhone or iPad home screen for easy access.
Navigate to tabak.cloud using Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up) in the Safari toolbar. On iPhone, this is at the bottom of the screen. On iPad, it's at the top.
Scroll down in the share menu and tap "Add to Home Screen". You may need to scroll through the options to find it.
You can edit the name if you'd like, then tap "Add" in the top-right corner. The Tabak icon will appear on your home screen.
Tip: When you open Tabak from your home screen, it will launch in full-screen mode without the Safari browser interface, giving you an app-like experience.
Install Tabak on your Android device home screen for quick access.
Navigate to tabak.cloud using Chrome on your Android device.
Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of Chrome.
Tap "Add to Home screen" or "Install app" from the menu (the exact wording may vary depending on your Chrome version).
Tap "Add" or "Install" in the dialog. The Tabak icon will appear on your home screen.
Note: Chrome may automatically prompt you to install Tabak when you visit the site. If you see an install banner at the bottom of the screen, you can tap it to install directly.
While Safari offers the best integration on macOS, Tabak works great in all modern browsers.
You can install Tabak as a Progressive Web App (PWA). Look for an install icon in the address bar, or click the three-dot menu and select "Install Tabak..."
Simply bookmark tabak.cloud for quick access. You can also add it to your bookmarks toolbar for one-click access.
On Windows or Linux, you can create a desktop shortcut from most browsers by dragging the URL from the address bar to your desktop.
Tabak requires an internet connection to function. Because your data is stored securely in the cloud and synced across devices, you need to be online to access your collection, add entries, or view your data.
We recommend using Tabak on a device with a stable internet connection for the best experience.
